About Me

Hello and thank you for visiting my website!  It is my goal to assist you with all of your real estate needs.  In an effort to better assist my clients, I specialize in the Debordieu, Georgetown, Pawleys Island, Myrtle Beach, Surfside Beach, Garden City and Murrells Inlet areas.   Whatever your needs may be, I will be there to help.  I thought it might be helpful to share with you my background.  Who knows, we might have a few things in common!

I grew up in Lexington, North Carolina and vacationed in Myrtle Beach with my family as well as friends until relocating from Nashville, Tennessee to Myrtle Beach in the year 2000.  My husband, Ed Mikol, an orthopaedic surgeon with Carolina Orthopaedic Specialists, and I enjoy boating, tennis, traveling and spending time with friends and family.  In 1994, I adopted a retired greyhound, Chelsea, and we had fun with her at the beach, the Bark Park and in our neighborhood.  Unfortunately, she passed away in 2007, but a very special fellow came into our lives in 2008, little Archie.  He is a rambunctious boxer who is never too tired to play.  He loves the river and has learned how to jump off and climb back on the boat with a special ramp we built for him.  He is no couch potato like Chelsea was.  His nightime activity must include chasing the laser light or his day is not complete!  I highly recommend greyhounds and boxers for family additions!  You'll never be without a smile on your face.

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is where I received a Bachelors of Science in Health Policy and Administration.  I worked in the healthcare industry for more than fifteen years with nine years focused in physician recruitment.  (No, I didn't recruit my husband!).  In addition to my work experience, I have volunteered on several boards over the years.  From 2000-2003, I served as the Vice President and a Board Member of the Association of Staff Physician Recruiters (ASPR).  I also co-chaired the Marketing and Membership Committee from 1995-2002.  Currently, I serve as a Member at Large on the Property Owners Association Board of Prestwick Country Club (which is located in Surfside Beach) and am the Chairperson of the Communications Committee.  My business and volunteer experiences have provided me with a broad knowledge base and the necessary tools from which to draw to provide my clients in real estate the best service possible.  Having been in the real estate market for some time now, I have acquired my designation as Accredited Buyers Agent as well as my Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource designation.  Please let me be Your Coastal Connection.
